Each class session includes one 25lb bag of clay, once-weekly instruction, studio access 7 days/week, and access to a range of glazes (as well as all of your final fired pieces).

If you use all of your clay before the class session is over you may purchase another bag or ½ bag of clay for the prices listed at the studio.

Note: students may not supply their own clay and must purchase clay directly from Throw, as we only use specific clay bodies, and the cost of firing and glaze is included in the cost of a bag of clay.

Studio access is available daily from 8am - 9pm. A door code is provided to students for each session, and there will be limited opportunities for out-of-class advice and assistance during the weekends and occasional weekdays.

If you miss a class, you may make up the missed session by attending a comparable class within the same session**. Each student may make up no more than one class per session (exceptions may be considered, within reason). This is an option offered according to availability as a courtesy to our students, and is not guaranteed.

To request a cancellation/refund for a six-week class, you must email info@throwceramics.com. Refunds requested more than two weeks prior to the first class are fully refundable. Refunds requested within two weeks of the first class are 50% refundable. Refunds are not available once the session begins, and class attendance is not transferable to another day/time or another student without express consent from Throw. Unfortunately, we cannot be flexible on this policy.

Note: if a class does not fill sufficiently, we may cancel it one week prior to the first class session and/or combine it with another session. However, we will never change the day/time of the class you have signed up for without your direct consent that the adjustment works with your schedule.

We offer one-time ‘try it’ classes or workshops focused on a specific object or method intermittently. Please keep coming back here, or sign up for our newsletter and/or follow us on social media to stay informed about these one-time opportunities!
